Pan-African Food Insecurity in Canada

Food insecurity disproportionately affects African Canadian households. African Canadian households are 3.56 times more likely to be food insecure than white households.  Thirty Six percent (36.6%) of African Canadian children live in food insecure households compared to (12.4%) of white children. Twenty-Eight ( 28%) percent of African Canadian households are food insecure compared to ten (10%) of white households.
